INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 of a 17.3 oz package of puff pastry ( made by Pepperidge Farm)
- 1 8oz brie cheese (round)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Unfold the pastry sheet on a light floured surface. Place the cheese in the center. Fold the pastry up over the cheese to cover. Trim the excess pastry and press to seal. Reserve the pastry scraps for decoration.
3. Beat the egg and water and with a fork brish the seam of the pastry. Place seam side down onto a baking sheet. Decorate with the pastry scraps if desired.
4. Bake for 25 minutes and then stand for 20 minutes before cutting.
