Recipe #32 Cheesecake with sour cream topping

One of my favorite desserts to make is cheesecake. I have tried many different recipes and one that im more into is the sour cream topping ones. The reason why is when a cheesecake bakes it cracks on the top and it doesn't look as nice. When you make it with sour cream it hides the cracking! So here is a recipe that tastes awesome!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar, divided
  • 4 packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla, divided
  • 1 160z sour cream, divided
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups fresh fruit for toppings

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Line a 13 by 9 pan with tin foil. Let it hang over the edges so when the cheesecake is done you can just lift it out.
  3. Mix crumbs and butter with 2 tablespoons of sugar
  4. Press into the bottom
  5. Beat cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  6. Add 1 cup of sour cream
  7. Add 1 egg at a time and pour over crust.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes. While it is baking mix together remaining sour cream, sugar and vanilla.
  9. After 40 minutes carefully spread over cheesecake and bake another 10 minutes.

BON APPETIT!
