Recipe #34 Easy homemade PICKLES!

I am addicted to pickles... when I go get a burger or just going out to eat I will ask for extra extra pickles or pickles on the side even if it doesn't come with my meal. My co worker Connie said she found and tried an easy pickle recipe. When her pickles were done I tried one and I fell in love with the recipe. It is soooo easy!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 dill heads
  • 4 garlic cloves ( I added the 4th clove because I love garlic!)
  • 2 tablespoons of pickling spices
  • 8 small to medium size cucumbers, any kind
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 8 cups of water
  • 1/4 cup pickling salt
  • big jar

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Put dill, garlic cloves, pickling salt, and pickling spices on the bottom of the jar. Place sliced cucumbers on top.
  2. Boil 8 cups of water and 1 cup of white vinegar and then pour over the cucumbers and shake well.
  3. Let rest on top of the stove for 1 to 2 hours until the jar cools down.
  4. Move to the refrigerate and let sit for 3 days before trying!
BON APPETIT!!
