INGREDIENTS:
For the Brownie Layer:
- 10 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 package of Oreo (regular or double stuffed)
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chip
DIRECTIONS:
- For the brownie layer: In a medium sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the sugar and cocoa powder once the butter is melted. Remove from heat. Add the salt, vanilla and eggs. Add the flour. Set aside
- For the cookie dough layer: Cream together the butter and sugars in a mixer. Add the eggs and vanilla. Add the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Preheat oven to 350. Line a bottom of a 9x9 pan with foil and spray with oil. Layer 1/2 the cookie dough on the bottom pressing down. Reserve remaining cookie dough for another batch at a later time.
- Layer as many oreos that will fit onto of the cookie dough. No need to overlap.
- Pour the brownie mixer over and make sure it is even,.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
