Recipe #11 Easy Alfredo Sauce

Pasta is probably one of the best food inventions known to mankind! I also love love love Alfredo Sauce! Here is a quick and simple recipe!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 2 cups milk

  • 6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/8 salt

  • pinch of parsley, basil and oregano

  • DIRECTIONS:

    1. Melt butter in a non-stick pot over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic/onion powder, stirring with wire whisk until smooth.
    2. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps.
    3. Stir in Parmesan, pepper, salt, parsley, basil, and oregano. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if cooked too long. Toss with hot pasta to serve.

    Bon Appetit!!!
