Recipe #15 Slow Cooked Roast with a Onion Mushroom Gravy

I love to make recipes in the crock pot! It is so easy, just add all your ingredients and turn it on! It is prefect to do in the morning before work so when you come home dinner is already made!! I made this once before back in January and it turned out really good so I decided to give it a go again!





After it cooled and placed it into a tubberware container







INGREDIENTS:

  • 2-3 pound roast
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 packet of onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cans of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix water with the onion soup mix in the crock pot. Add onion and the soup. Mix well. Then add salt and pepper. Finally place the roast in the crock pot and spoon some of the mixture over the roast.
  2. Cook on high 6 to 8 hours or on low 3 to 4.
