Recipe #66 Slow Cooker Chili

There are so many recipes for chili, which is a good thing but also a bad thing. It took me 2 days to find this chili recipe ( with my modifications of course.) It is so favorable and not to spicy which I like... I'm not a fan of 5 alarm chili!

Serving Size: 12
INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3 cans (16 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cans (14 oz) stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (15 oz) pizza sauce
  • 1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 4 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Brown ground beef over medium heat until it is no longer pink, drain.
  2. Transfer to a slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
BON APPETIT!
